The step between enzymes and a peel.
There is a gap in most back bars between a gentle enzyme and a superficial peel. Mellow Mandelic fills it.
Mandelic acid’s larger molecule exfoliates more gradually, and lactic acid supports surface renewal while holding hydration. At 5% AHA it is a meaningful corrective step you can reach for once you know how a client’s skin responds — without committing to a peel.

How to run it.
A corrective step, not an intensive one. The comfort comes from restraint in the timing as much as the formula.

Double cleanse and assess. Know how this skin has responded to exfoliation before you reach for an acid.

Into a mask bowl, then brush over face, neck and chest, avoiding the eye area.

Adjust the time to skin condition and response. Steam is optional and increases intensity.

Warm towel or cotton rounds, then follow with hydration and barrier support.

How strong is it?
5% AHA — mandelic and lactic. A meaningful corrective step that stops short of a peel.
Who is it not for?
A client with no exfoliation history. Start with an enzyme — Super Fruit C or Pomkin Glow — see how the skin responds, and bring this in at a later visit.
Is it suitable across skin tones?
Yes. The gradual pace of mandelic acid is why it works well across a wide range of skin tones and conditions.
Can I steam over it?
Optional, and it increases intensity. Decide based on the skin and the result you want.
How is it different from Moment of Clarity?
Moment of Clarity is the take-home serum — multi-acid, used a few nights a week. This is the in-room treatment step, applied once and removed.
Does it contain essential oils?
