The top of the exfoliation ladder.
Three acids working at different depths, with charcoal to absorb surface oil and impurities. Salicylic reaches into the pore, glycolic works the surface, lactic exfoliates while holding water.
Saccharide isomerate and oat keep hydration in the formula so the step corrects without leaving the skin stripped — but this is still the strongest exfoliator in the back bar, and it should be earned rather than assumed.

It would not be my first choice for a client who has never experienced chemical exfoliation. I’d start with Super Fruit C, Moment of Clarity, or Pomkin Glow, then consider this at a future visit once I’ve seen how the skin responds. For me, it’s a great bridge before moving into a more intensive superficial peel.”

The formula
Three acids and something to hold the water in.
The acids do the correcting. The humectants and oat are why this reads as a Free + True exfoliator rather than a generic acid peel.
Lactic Acid
Exfoliates the surface while also acting as a humectant, which is part of why the step stays comfortable.
Glycolic Acid
A smaller-molecule AHA that helps loosen surface buildup and refine texture.
Salicylic Acid
An oil-soluble BHA that reaches into the pore to help clear congestion.
Charcoal
Helps absorb excess surface oil and impurities.
Saccharide Isomerate + Oat
A humectant and a barrier-soothing flour, included so the correction does not come at the cost of hydration.

Who should not receive this treatment?
Anyone with compromised, highly sensitised or actively inflamed skin, and anyone with no history of professional chemical exfoliation.
What should I use instead for a first-timer?
Super Fruit C or Pomkin Glow for an enzyme, or Mellow Mandelic once you have seen how the skin handles an acid.
How long do I leave it on?
Three to five minutes, adjusted to skin condition and your own assessment. Steam increases intensity.
What do I follow it with?
Hydration and barrier support, always. Vital Hydration, then a barrier cream. Matcha + Oat Milk if the skin is reactive.
Can I use it on the back or chest?
It is applied to face, neck and chest in the standard protocol. For body work, adjust timing and judge the area on its own.
Does it contain essential oils?
Yes — cypress, lime, ylang ylang, geranium and lemongrass. Check the full list above for fragrance-sensitive clients.
