Balanced Being was designed around a deliberately unfashionable idea: that the best thing you can do for an over-treated barrier is to stop adding things to it. It works best as the only product in a night routine, and in the room it is the finish when you have decided the skin has had enough.
Use it as a barrier cream, or apply generously and leave it on as a soothing mask.

Cream or mask?
Both. Apply generously and leave it on as a soothing mask, or use a nickel-sized amount as the final barrier cream.
Why does it pill when I layer it?
Spritz a gentle hydrating mist between layers. It was designed to be used alone, so it prefers damp skin and few neighbours.
Is it rich enough for very dry skin?
Mix a few drops of Freedom Fighter into it. For genuinely dry rather than reactive skin, Mama Pacha may be the better finish.
Safe for fragrance-sensitive clients?
It contains no essential oils and no added fragrance — the marzipan note is the plum seed oil itself.
Is the ceramide complex animal-derived?
No. It is a vegan, skin-identical lipid concentrate.
