One step that does two jobs.
Dehydrated skin usually needs water and lipids, and the standard answer is two products. A bi-phase essence gives you both in a single press — which matters most on reactive skin, where every additional layer is another thing that might go wrong.
The colour change when you shake it is also a genuinely good moment in a treatment. Clients notice.
How to use it
- Shake until it turns milky — that is the activation
- A quarter teaspoon into the palm
- Press onto face, neck and chest — do not rub
- Follow with serum and facial oil or moisturiser

Bridging the gap
“There is a gap in most routines between the toner and the oil — skin that needs more than water but is not ready for a full facial oil. Milk + Tansy lives in that gap.
Blue tansy is a wonder botanical for sensitive skin, and chamazulene is what gives it that blue. Pairing it with Kalahari melon, baobab and jojoba gives you real lipid support in something that still feels breathable. It is the product I put on skin when I am not sure how much it can take.”

Why does it separate?
It is a bi-phase formula — a milky white water phase and an azure lipid phase. Shake until it turns one calm blue before dispensing.
How is it different from Ramblin’ Rose?
Ramblin’ Rose is purely a water-phase hyaluronic serum. Milk + Tansy adds lipids, so it suits skin that needs both at once. Many routines use both.
Will it feel heavy on oily skin?
It is deliberately lighter than an oil and breathable on the skin. For genuinely oily skin with no barrier concern, Ramblin’ Rose alone may be enough.
Is blue tansy safe for sensitive skin?
It is a long-standing favourite for sensitive skin, and it is the only essential oil in the formula. Review the full list with fragrance-sensitive clients.
Does the blue transfer?
No. The colour is chamazulene from the blue tansy and it disappears into the skin as it absorbs.
